Not medical advice

Mensia helps you keep track of your cycle and your health, and its articles explain things in plain language. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, midwife or other health professional.

Predictions are estimates from the dates you log. Do not use Mensia as contraception, and do not rely on it to plan or avoid a pregnancy. The PCOS self-check and the check-ins are not diagnostic tests. If something worries you, or matches a sign on the when-to-see-a-doctor lists, contact a health professional — and in an emergency call your local emergency number.

Licence

Mensia is provided free of charge for personal use. You may use it on any device you control. You may not resell it, redistribute modified copies of it, or attempt to decompile or reverse engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.

Your data

What you log is yours. Because Mensia keeps it on your phone, you are responsible for it: lock the app if others use your phone, and export or back it up if you do not want to lose it with the phone. We cannot recover data that was only on a lost or reset phone, a forgotten PIN without biometrics, or the password of an encrypted backup.

No warranty

Mensia is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Cycles vary, and a prediction, pattern or article may not fit your situation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app, for lost data, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Mensia. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

No paid features

There are no in-app purchases: everything described on this site is free. If a purchase is ever offered, it will be made through Google Play or the App Store under their terms, and the free features will stay free.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue Mensia or any of its features at any time.
