Reporting a bug
Please include these — with them a problem is usually fixable in one pass, without them it often is not reproducible at all:
- What you were doing, and what you expected to happen.
- Which mode you are in — cycle, trying to conceive, pregnancy, first period, after birth or menopause.
- Your phone model, and its Android or iOS version.
- The app version, from your phone’s Settings → Apps → Mensia.
Please do not send your dates, symptoms or an export of your data. Describing what went wrong is enough, and we would rather not hold your health information at all.

Is my health data sent anywhere?
No. Everything you log is stored on your phone, encrypted, and never uploaded — we have no server to send it to. The app sends anonymous crash reports and usage counts to Google Firebase, which never include your dates, symptoms or notes, and you can turn those off in Privacy & data.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. You can use every feature without telling us who you are.
How accurate are the predictions?
They start from the cycle length you give during setup, marked “First estimate”, and improve with each period you log — using your last six cycles and showing a confidence badge. Cycles vary, so treat them as a guide, never as contraception.
What happens if I lose or change my phone?
Because nothing is kept on a server, your data is only where you put it. Export an encrypted backup from Privacy & data and restore it on the new phone, or turn on Include in device backup.
Can other people see that I use it?
Lock the app with a PIN, your face or your fingerprint, switch to the discreet flower icon, and turn on discreet reminders that only say “Time to check in”. Sex logging can be hidden too.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. The articles are in English for now.
Is it free?
Yes. Every mode and feature is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. A few reading screens may show non-personalised ads — never where you log, and never for anyone under 18.
Is it a medical device?
No. Mensia helps you notice and record what is happening, and gives you a report to take to your doctor. It does not diagnose anything, and the when-to-see-a-doctor lists are there so you know when to get real care.

Deleting your data
Mensia has no account and keeps nothing about you on a server, so there is no account to delete. Everything the app holds is on your phone: Me → Privacy & data → Delete everything erases it at once, and uninstalling the app does the same.
